Two Important Changes to MAP, our Merchant Access Portal There have been two significant changes to the reports available on MAP recently. First, we have added a new report for viewing loyalty rewards which are granted via automatic thresholds: Auto-Reward Issuances. Second, we have restricted access to the liability report to avoid potential confusion. The Auto-Reward Issuance report is available as part of the Premium reporting package, or through special arrangement by your account manager. This report shows only Point Accumulation and Enrollment transactions that result in cash being issued to the card. It also shows any Void transactions for the period, in case those voids are for the listed transactions. Eventually, these void transactions will probably be removed from the report in favor of indicating the actual transactions which have been voided. The Outstanding Balance/Liability report was designed from the beginning to be a corporate level report, not specific to individual locations. However, because we did not initially prevent individual locations from running the report, there were a number of locations that called with questions. As a temporary measure, we have restricted access to accounts for which the data will be accurate. Many corporate accounts will also be able to determine their individual locations' liability by separating the report based on the Issuing Location. However, this requires a "card-based" or "single-use" accounting method. Customers who use "value-based" accounting cannot get an accurate per-location liability report at this time. This is something we are working on. Once we have that report available, we should be able to set up all merchant locations with access to liability reports that correctly report based on the accounting method they use.
