We provide a full range of marketing services including Gift Card Accessories & Marketing Tools, Direct Mail Marketing & Card Fulfillment, Email Marketing and Marketing Collateral. We support our products and services with top-notch customer service, free merchant training and customizable reports via our Merchant Access Portal (MAP).
Founded in 2003 by several veterans of the payment services industry, we have experienced double-digit growth year over year since our inception. The company is headquartered in Clifton Heights, PA and our customer care center is in Franklin, TN. Now serving more than 25,000 merchant locations nationwide, ProfitPoint produces in excess of fifteen million cards per year and processes more than twenty million stored value transactions on its proprietary gift and loyalty card platform.

Ward Schultz - COO/CFO
Mr. Schultz is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business. Ward is a finance veteran who was named the 2008 Philadelphia Business Journal's CFO of the Year. Previously he served as Chief Financial Officer for Citi Prepaid Services (formerly Ecount) and was CFO at Ecount when it was acquired by Citi in early 2007. He was instrumental in developing scalable financial systems to support revenue growth and profitability enhancement as well as the expansion of Citi Prepaid Services into Europe, Asia and Latin America. Prior to Ecount, Ward was CFO at Fastnet Corporation, and before that, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Asia Access Telecom, Inc., an international long distance telecommunications provider with operations in the United States, South Korea and Singapore. He also served as Chief Financial Officer of Silverline Technologies, Inc. and Capsule Communications Inc. He began his career with Deloitte & Touche. Ward is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BS in Business Administration from Drexel University and a Masters in Taxation from Villanova University.

Tyler Hains - Director of Information Technology
Mr. Hains has managed the Information Technology department of ProfitPoint since its inception. In addition to maintaining the business infrastructure, he has led several major projects that have improved ProfitPoint’s offerings, most noticeably, the Merchant Services Site, where customers generate and view reports on demand. Since earning a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering from MIT, Mr. Hains has worked primarily in IT, drawing on his programming background for special projects. |

James Hooven - Director of Operations
With ProfitPoint, Mr. Hooven oversees the day-to-day operation of Art, Production, Order Fulfillment, and Customer Support. He manages the creation and set-up of transaction accounts, the building and downloading of terminal software files and the shipping of equipment that allow merchants to process gift, loyalty and credit cards. Under his direction, the Customer Support team is responsible for keeping clients informed and educated on ProfitPoint’s products and services. Additionally the Customer Support team provides exceptional technical assistance to all ProfitPoint merchants and their customers. Mr. Hooven has previous experience leading a mid-size call center in the telecommunications industry. He implemented and managed work flow procedures for Hotwire Communications to ensure client installations were completed within SLA standards. Customer Satisfaction is the primary focus of Mr. Hooven’s team. |
